Bridgewater Pure Alpha Fund (Australia)
Bridgewater Pure Alpha Fund (Australia) (the "Fund"), has been
specifically established for the benefit of Australian investors including
superannuation funds and professional investors and wholesale clients wishing
to participate and invest in international markets. The Fund is a registered
managed investment scheme in accordance with the Australian Corporations
Act 2001.
The investment objective and policy of the Fund are to achieve capital
appreciation in a wide range of asset classes using proprietary investment
systems developed by the Investment Manager. These asset classes include
the currency, fixed-income, equity, and commodity markets. The Fund will
utilise exchange traded futures contracts, over the counter derivatives,
cash securities, commingled vehicles and spot and forward contracts on the
international, inter-bank currency market.
