David Blakston
Technology Manager
David joined Bell Asset Management in February 2024 and has over 30 years’ experience in the technology industry. He has deep expertise in applying technology to improve workflows, enhance security, and deliver business value. David oversees all aspects of technology, ensuring strategic initiatives and core systems work hand-in-hand to drive innovation, strengthen operations, and maintain a secure and resilient environment through strong cyber security practices.
Before joining the firm, David spent 21 years at Macquarie Group based in Sydney, Melbourne, and London, where he implemented technology projects across the UK, Europe, South Africa, and the US. He also has experience working for organisations in the gaming, legal, and aviation sectors.
David holds a Bachelor in Computer/Information Technology Administration & Management from the University of Melbourne.
