Prior to Bell Asset Management, James joined Tyndall Asset Management in 2008, where he spent 18 years developing deep expertise in Australian equities research and portfolio management. At Tyndall, James served as a Senior Analyst and Portfolio Manager and was Co-Portfolio manager of the Tyndall Australian Small Companies strategy from its inception.

Prior to joining Tyndall, James was an Equity Analyst and Portfolio Manager at DVA Capital, specialising in Asian equities. He also held the role of Asset Consultant at JANA Investment Advisers and worked as a Risk Analyst at Deloitte Australia.

James holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) / Bachelor of Laws, Master of Economics (Honours).
