Matt joined Bell Asset Management ("BAM") in April 2018. Matt has 25 years of experience in fundamental equity analysis and portfolio construction in global equities. Matt first started analysing and investing in global equities in 1998, at the beginning of the dot-com bubble and has vast experience in investing and portfolio construction through numerous business cycles since then.

Prior to joining BAM, Matt has worked at The Boston Company Asset Management (Boston, USA), Scottish Widows (Edinburgh, UK) and Sceptre Investment Counsel (Toronto, Canada) as a global equities analyst. Matt moved back to Australia in 2005, where he was a partner and Portfolio Manager at Global Value Investors (Sydney, Australia).  Matt has experience in the Consumer Staples, Consumer Discretionary, IT and Healthcare sectors, and has specialised in analysing Small and Midcap companies.

Matt received his BBA from Bishops University (in Finance and Economics) and his MBA from McGill University (in International Finance).  He is a candidate for the Level 3 CFA Program.
