Johnson joined Bell Asset Management (BAM) in January 2024, focusing on fundamental analysis and idea generation for companies that meet our quantitative screens.

Prior to joining BAM, Johnson was a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst at Kiwi Wealth where he covered the TMT sector. In that role, he was responsible for security selection, portfolio construction, and risk management of a global equities fund. Johnson is also experienced in advising institutional and quasi-government investors on manager selection and multi-asset strategies with his tenure at Mercer New Zealand.

Johnson has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland.
